The Biography
The future star was born on the 21st of September, 1985. Her parents immigrated to Amsterdam from Morocco. They settled in the Netherlands and gave birth to two more children except Maryam a few years later the move. It was a girl and a boy.
In 2003 Maryam finished the school and entered the college, where she studied for two years.

At the beginning of new millennium, the actress was invited to star in children TV-series called “Dunya and Desi”. She played there one of a leading role. The series brought the girl the popularity all over the world and film directors began sending her offers to cast in the next pictures.
Six years later, the woman took the International Emmy Award, which was offered to her for the role in “Offers”. This title can be won by children and youngsters only.
Her latest famous work is a role in the film “Doodslag”, which was shot in 2012. This is a Netherlands thriller, where Maryam Hassouni played a role of a pregnant woman giving birth in the emergency ambulance.
In 2015, Maryam featured three pictures – “Debiel”, “Rotterdam, I Love You” and “Idiot”.
This year the attractive woman has already managed to work in the where she was offered to express the character of Ceylan, a leading role. The picture is now at the stage of post-production, so soon the viewers will be able to evaluate her new featuring. The actress was lucky to work with Teun Kuilboer in one shooting stage.
At the present moment, the celebrity is filming in the picture “Soof 2”, where she plays a role of Najat.

Once the actress tried to enter the Free University of Amsterdam to attend law courses, but failed. She managed to enter the university at the second attempt only.
